My Crochet Lampshade - 2015 Project

It's been a while since I've wrote to you and I have a lot of things to tell you, but first things first my crochet lampshade. Last year I was assigned a major work (by mum) to crochet a lampshade but not just a basic lampshade, a lampshade made of crochet bits and bobs stitched together -I can't explain it any other way.

At the start of the year mum asked me to make and finish a lampshade by the end of term 2. That didn't happen and I actually (completely) finished it in the first week of January (2016). There are many reasons why I didn't finish it earlier; I'm lazy, I didn't know what I wanted to do, how I wanted it to look or how I was going to do it. Even though I finished it way way way too late I still absolutely love it!

My Thoughts on Crocheting a Blanket

Recently I went crazy and thought I would crochet a blanket..
After volunteering at a local aged care Knitting group where half the ladies knitted and the others crocheted (mainly blankets), I really wanted to make a blanket for my room. I remembered seeing a tutorial on a granny stripe blanket by Attic 24 and envisaged it laying on my bed. Today I thought I would tell you my thoughts on crocheting this blanket.

My Clay Cupcake!

Hello,

At school in art we had to sculpt and paint a cupcake! It was so fun and everyone did such an awesome job someone even did the cookie monster with a cookie in his mouth! For mine a didn't have the same amount of time as others because a was away the day we were meant to start. With the painting a didn't really have a plan so I just put really nice, bright colours and it turned out really well! I love it! So as soon as I was aloud to take it home I took home and quickly snapped up some photos to share with you.

DIY Fabric Yoyo

I few weeks ago me and my mum went to this craft night and there was this really nice lady who showed us and all these other ladies some craft ideas. She showed needle felting, pom pom making, crocheting and heaps of other things. Sadly I didn't get to take any photos, but we were taught how to make these really cute fabric yoyos so I really wanted to show you guys how to make them too!
