The first thing I did was bring all the clothes into my room, I hung up want I could and the rest sat on my bed. Then I went through all my winter clothes, starting from what was hanging up then what was on my bed, putting away everything I wanted to keep. I had to remove quite a bit if I wanted my thick jackets in my room.
After all my winter stuff was decluttered I made my way through everything else hanging up, I went through and removed a lot of things I hadn't worn this summer and that didn't fit.
Here is what I used to declutter:
1. Do I still like it?
2. Does it fit?
3. Have I worn it lately?
4. Will I wear it?
And omg after doing this to all my clothes, they actually fit on my clothes rack! I am really glad I removed so much, and that I know everything fits. I'm actually going to make pillows out of some shirts that I really like but don't fit, which I'm excited to do!2. Does it fit?
3. Have I worn it lately?
4. Will I wear it?
When was the last time you went through your clothes? Do you do it seasonally? I would love to know :)
Oh and do you like the photo I put for this post? You can see more on my Flickr page, if you would like.
Ruby, I love your blog.
