Domain Change
So the only thing I really wanted to do was repurchase my domain (www.rubydean.com) BUT I was with Crazy Domains and wanted to switch to GoDaddy because Crazy Domains is stupid, difficult and more expensive (truth). Little did I know, I couldn't repurchase the domain after it expired (or in my case was deleted (oops)) so I was devastated and I will not go into detail about how I cried :/
Then I 'resolved' it by purchasing www.rubydeanblog.com. This was a win/lose situation because I had solved my problem and think it goes better with all my social media names but all the links to my old domain are now broken and I have to go through and replace all the names I can (ahhh).
I'm not too annoyed but I am still quite annoyed...
Header Change
Next I wanted to change my header so that it matched my domain and social media. I really like how it turned out especially with the green bits in it.
I made it in Sketchbook Express as an app on my computer I just played around with the airbrush, smudge, blur and sharpen tools. Then I opened it in Picmonkey and added the text.
Floating NavBar
WOO, I have a floating navbar! I have wanted one of these of a while but never got around to doing it, and now it's done. I love how much colour it gives to my blog everywhere you go. Now for this I have changed the Labels and pages, hopefully it's easier to find things now. I'm sorry for all the changing in the navigation lately so hopefully this will last a while.
Email Subscription
Yay! I'm really excited for this! I finally have started an Email Subscription (Aka Mailing List), I have mentioned this here and there but it's finally ready.
Basically you enter your email into the bar I have on my sidebar or at the end of this post and I will email you every time I publish a new post. It's super simple and really handy, I love subscribing to blogs through email because I get notified on my phone and know I just have to check it out :)

Heya Ruby! I love the new look! Just one thing which I've told a couple of people who've changed domain names. If you email Bloglovin' that you've changed url and tell them what you've changed it from and to they'll move all your bloglovin' followers over from your old url to your new one, which means you won't lose any of them! Also I think blogger has a way for you to redirect your old address to this one? That's how mine worked so even if I have any old links which link to my old louiseerin.blogspot.com blog it'll just redirect to my new one. Does that make sense? Anyway, have a good day!
