Felt Fairy Houses

Hey!
Have you heard of the amazing magazine called Mollie Makes? Well I Love it, I have been collecting them since issue 13. It's full of crafts and handmade things and in one of the latest issues there was a DIY for felt fairy lights.

I had these lanterns hanging off my window but they were gettting old and looked wrecked, it was the perfect place to put fairy houses.

The instructions were really simple but each fairy house took SO long. To make them you have to measure and cut the felt, add cross stitch, sew roof pieces on then sew everything together and try to remember to leave the hole for the light.

Despite having to spend 2 days making them, I'm really glad I did! They look so cute hanging on my window. I love looking up at them when I'm sitting on my desk.

If you want to make them yourself you can get the pattern, the complete instructions are in issue 46, you could go off my description or email me for help.
What do you think of them? I loved taking these photos and I think they turned out pretty :)
Have you gone back to school yet? I haven't got my textbooks yet (whoops). If so, how is it?
Ruby xx
