Meet Syrena + How I 'Updated' Her

Factory Blythe Doll After
Guess what?! I have a new Blythe Doll!! YAY! Her names Syrena and she is a mermaid, because, well, mermaids are awesome! I want to introduce you to her and tell you how I customised her.

Factory Blythe Doll Before
This is how I got her! So messed up that her hair was un-brushable and she had few eyelashes! I had some work to do.
Washed Blythe Doll Hair
I washed her hair and soaked it in conditioner for 4 hours. I'm really happy with how it turned out, although its still not that good.
Painted Blythe Eyechips
Here are 3 out of 4 the eyechips that I painted, the other one was olive. I add some paint behind the stock/original eyechips to lighten and darken them. I really like how they all turned out!
Mermaid Blythe Eyelids
I was really excited to paint the eyelids! It gave me a lot of creativity, which was kind of scary at first.  I went with dots in ocean-y colours to create a look that reminds me of the scales of a mermaid tale. The result is exactly what I was looking for, I'm so happy with it!

After the eyelids, I put in the eyelashes. I used long fluttery lashes and I really like how they look on her, it's what I imagine a mermaids lashes would look like :D

I also:
• Corrected her gaze
• Added eyeshadow
(I scratched her original eyeshadow so I re-did it)
Tar dar! Miss Syrena all done and dusted! I really like how she turned out! I would like to do more one day when I get some makeup sealant. She turned out exactly how I imagined her, although her hair is another story.

What do you think of her?
