Hello
Lately I have been baking a lot, although in our new kitchen is really tiny I still love it baking in it. So I went through some old recipe books and found this yummy slice. I tried it out and it didn't take long to make and tasted very peanut buttery and yummy. I wouldn't recommend this recipe if you don't like peanut butter.
Ingredients
1/3 cup golden syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 cups coco-pops
1/2 cup peanut butter
30 gms butter
Method
Combine brown sugar and golden syrup in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture bubbles around the edge of the pan. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and butter until completely mixed. Add coco-pops stirring until well coated with syrup mixture. Press lightly into a greased slice tray. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into slices.
And your done :)
I'm sorry I don't have many photos, it has been raining lately and there hasn't been very good lighting.
If you do try this out I would love to see how it turned out.
Have an amazing day,
Ruby xox
