Saturday, 13th

So this is late, I had a late night so I couldn't write this then and Sunday I just didn't feel the urge to write, but I will talk about in my next post.

At the start of the day I finished reading Girl Online On Tour (I loved it, by the way) which took we practically the whole day up until 2.30pm.

So at 2.30pm we left to go see some racing! About 9 years ago we used to go the the speedway regularly but then we stopped, this night was free for ladies so we jumped on the opportunity and went again. We totally forgot how much clay flies up and weren't really prepared but it was still great.

That night something amazing was going to happen! A whole family were going to race each other; mother, father, their 3 sons and daughter. See picture 4 to see the family driving around, this wasn't there race. It's a world first!

Everything was going really great up until it was getting dark. There is a main road right next to the speedway and there was an accident. I car drove into a pole, the power pole that powers that track lights. You see they can't drive in the dark, they don't have lights like cars so they need the night. I don't know how long it took (maybe an hour-an hour and a half? or more) for the power people to come so they could fix it. A lot of people left instead of waiting but we anyway. Because they have a noise curfew they couldn't fit everything in they just did the main things to finish the races, the family didn't get to race each other that night which was pretty disappointing

I love the legend cars the best (photo 6) because, firstly they're cute, secondly they don't spray up much dirt/clay and lastly you can clearly see the start/the car coming first.

It was great to go back there after so long, I really enjoyed and I'm glad we went (blackout and everything). I do wish that we got to see the family race each other that would of been awesome.
